Brazil Week 3 of Darcy's postcard Challenge

This is my postcard for week three of Darcy's postcard challenge. And it was a challenge this week as I didn't know what I could do for the postcard, so I decided to use the flag colours and the famous carnival< I sat and crocheted the flowers and thought what I could do while I was crocheting and I came up with the idea of a mask and lots of bling!

The back of the postcard,

Reads:-

Dear Penny,
Let's meet and reunite you with this ring. I'm in Brazil at the moment but will have a stop over in London on Wed 1st Feb 2012. Meet me at the bar in Claridges Hotel at 8pm, there will be a cocktail waiting for you at the bar - I will be in my uniform. By the way 'Im intrigued, you say it's no longer yours, I imagine a girl doesn't easily give up a diamond this big!

I hope you like it and thank you all again for all of the lovely comments, I am loving this challenge so much, why didn't they do something like this at school so I enjoyed geography?

I am so looking forward to the next country.
until next time.

Brilliant Nicki. I love the mask and the blingy Brazil.
I'm sure we would all have excelled in geography if it could have been this interesting.

Love your mask and the flowers. Captures the flavour of Brazil perfectly. Interesting story -- who can resist a man in uniform and a huge diamond ring?

I agree, I hated geography at school and was rubbish at it, if they had done this I would have learnt so much lol

gorgeous flowers, love the added texture. A uniform and a diamond, hmm what girl could refuse.
