Olivia's Gift

Hi,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, But I am back.
Here is a gift that I made for my cousin's baby as it was her Christening on Sunday, I took inspiration from a sign that is in Tracey's shop Running with Scissors and made this while I was at the crop on Saturday and I really enjoyed myself.

I also did some fabulous scrapbook pages at the class in the morning.


here is the box I made it was a bit of a rush job as I decided to make this 15 mins before leaving for the Christening, that is why there isn't much decoration.

The papers that I used to decorate this were K & Company Sparkly sweet which I have had for ages and wondered what to use them for as I just wanted to look at them as they were to nice to use, but I have to start using all of my stash to make room for new.

The diamonds and pearls and ribbon I used were bought from Running with Scissors.

Birthday Card and Wedding Card

Firstly here is the Card I made for my gorgeous husband for his birthday.

This is what you see inside, I was very pleased how this turned out, He really liked it too. We had a wonderful day out in Manchester and had a lovely dinner in the living room on Deansgate, when I looked up we were sat next to Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) and Jack Sheppherd (David Platt ) from Coronation St having lunch too.

Here is a Wedding card I made for our friends who got married in Kent on Saturday 25.4.09 Congratulations to you both we had a great time.

And here is my favourite stamp that goes on just about everything.

For these cards I used up some of my scraps and added a heart charms which was from Running with Scissors.

A Couple of Cards

It is such a long time since I posted anything, I almost forgot how to do it. Although I am still struggling a bit with putting writing before the pictures. So I am afraid this is how it will be until I learn how to do it properly so please bare with me.

Here are a couple of cards I have made recently the first being an Evening Acceptance card for my friend at work who is getting married in May, I also decorated the back of this card, the papers I used were Laura Ashely and pink bazzil, with brown inked edges. The Second card was a birthday card for my Dad, I can't remember the papers I used as they were left overs I had.

I would also like to say a quick Thank You to Tracey for the wonderful Scrap booking classes I have been attending on a Saturday, I have been having a wonderful time and I am looking forward to this Saturday.I have lots of wonderful pages in my album.xxx

Quick Cards

Here are some quick cards I have made the first picture is a gift card, and the second are some men's birthday cards. I just used some left over scraps, and embellishments.

I will be back soon with some pictures of my new craft space, it's so exciting, I am hoping to get it all sorted out by the weekend. So I must dash and get clearing it out.

Craft Shop

Last week I visited my local craft shop Running with Scissors, it has just been taken over by Tracey. I must say that the shop has had a fantastic revamp, with Lot's of help from Tracey's family and friends you can visit Tracey's Blog through the link on my Blog.

I made this card for wishing Tracey the best of luck and success new Great big venture.

Also whilst I was visiting the shop I bought some new bits for my stash as I couldn't resist the temptation. Tracey has lots of new stock with lots more to follow. I am pretty sure I will be revisiting soon. Above is a picture of what I bought on this visit.

Gift Card

Here is a gift card I made for our friends who got married last year, the company they had their gift list with went into administration and they didn't receive any of their gifts, we have finally got a refund on our credit card, so decided to send them a cheque to do as they please. I thought it would be nice to send it in a card.
